The Ourika Valley Day Tour from Marrakesh:

Escape the hustle & bustle of the Marrakesh Medina. Explore the Ourika Valley, located in the High Atlas Mountains of Morocco south of Marrakesh. This valley is known for its gorgeous green landscape set between towering mountains. Driving through wonderful scenery, you will stop by some local villages to discover more about the daily lives of the inhabitants. As part of this trip you will visit Setti Fatma & the seven waterfalls, the most beautiful part of this valley. A 20 minute camel ride is also included. You will have a chance to explore & enjoy the area, before heading back to Marrakesh. Collection from your hotel at 9am. Departure from Ourika at 4pm. It takes about an hour to reach Ourika Valley.

The Ouzoud Waterfalls Day Tour from Marrakesh:

These waterfalls are the highest falls in north Africa, located in a valley in the middle Atlas Mountains. You will gain insights into the lives of local Berber inhabitants of the area. You will also enjoy the breathtaking instagramable scenery. And for the wild life lovers, there will be an opportunity to see Babary macaque monkeys in their natural habitat. These monkeys are an endangered species. Ait-Ben-Hadou & Ouazarate

This full-day excursion takes you through North Africa's highest mountain past Tizi n'Tichka in the Atlas Mountains. Amazing landscapes, winding mountain roads & traditional Berber villages perched along the way.  The iconic buildings of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Ben-Haddou are sure to amaze you. This tour has a 7am start & returns back to Marrakesh at 7pm. It takes 3.5 hours to reach Ait ben Haddou & further half hour to reach Ouarzazate. Here you will have lunch and visit the kasabah (castle). There is also a Cinema Museum where you can see some of the film sets used in various Hollywood blockbusters. There is a lot travelling involved. Good to know if you are considering travelling with kids. If you really would like to visit Ait Ben Hadou & Ouarzazate, you might want to consider booking somewhere to stay the night & doing the trip over 2 or 3 days. With a growing number of places now available, from budget £22 per night to luxury £150 per night, this is now a real option.

Visit Enchanting Essaouira

Essaouira is a coastal town on the Atlantic Ocean. It is under 3 hours away but definitely a child friendly place to visit. It is a great place to cool off from the  summer heat of Marrakesh & unwind from the hustle bustle. It is the best place to shop if you are not a keen haggler.
